A 3,000 sqft space in the Lloyd Center in Portland, Oregon where you are transported to a galaxy far, far away. Inside, you'll find cosplay hubs, collectibles, training sessions, and yes — lightsaber classes. Come train, shop, and hang out with the community.

Everything you need to know before your Padawan begins their training.

Galactic Summer Camp is an immersive, hands-on experience where kids train like heroes in a sci-fi universe. Campers participate in lightsaber training, interactive missions, team challenges, and creative activities designed to build confidence, coordination, and imagination.

The camp is best suited for children ages 6–10. Activities are tailored to be safe, engaging, and age-appropriate across this range.

Each day includes a mix of:

  • Lightsaber training & dueling basics
  • Team-based missions and challenges
  • Creative building or storytelling activities
  • Movement-based games and obstacle courses

The structure balances physical activity, creativity, and teamwork.

No experience is necessary. Whether your child is brand new or already a fan of lightsabers and sci-fi, they will be guided step-by-step.

Yes. Safety is a top priority:

  • All activities are supervised by trained background checked staff
  • Equipment is designed for safe, controlled use
  • Clear rules and structure are enforced during all sessions
  • Comfortable clothes for movement
  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Water bottle
  • Lunch if special dietary needs

Optional: costumes or themed outfits are welcome but not required.

Campers who register will be provided training sabers during camp. Earlybird packages and/or upgrades may include a take-home saber.

We keep groups small to ensure quality instruction and safety, typically 10–16 campers per group with a 1:5 staff ratio present.

Camp is designed as a drop-off experience to help kids fully engage. However, Parents will be invited to join Fridays starting at 1PM.

Yes. Each camp session follows a narrative arc where campers take on roles, complete missions, and progress through challenges across the week.

We do our best to accommodate. Please provide details during registration so staff can prepare and ensure a safe, inclusive experience.
